Mexico’s low landed costs are attractive when considered in comparison to other developing country options. It is suited to serve as a manufacturing venue for short to medium-run products that have a high degree of engineered content. This is the next step in Plastic Engineering’s expansion. Plastic Engineering recently announced the receipt of their newest Quality certification, the AS9100 Certification. This certification is given for establishing and maintaining precision manufacturing and quality control standards for the aerospace industry. This certification joins the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certification, Plastic Engineering received for “Precision CNC machining of plastic and metal components, plastic injection molding, state of the art fabrication, plastic sheet rod and tube material distribution.” Plastic Engineering doesn't just talk about quality, they are certified to give the highest quality to every client and every project.

Not only has Plastic Engineering added more staff to their operations, they have also doubled their machining capabilities. They are excited to have added a new Doosan Puma 2100 SY to their production floor. This will help with cycle times and reduce potential operation cost.
